Scope of Services
MasterCraft provides garage door repair, installation, inspection, opener replacement, maintenance, and related services. Service offerings may vary depending on safety conditions, material availability, manufacturer requirements, or legal regulations.
Estimates, Pricing & Work Authorization
All estimates provided by MasterCraft are good-faith evaluations based on visible conditions at the time of inspection. Final pricing may change if additional issues, unsafe conditions, or hidden defects are discovered during work.
By requesting service, scheduling an appointment, or approving an estimate, you authorize MasterCraft to perform the work described. Verbal approval, electronic approval, and continued authorization during the service visit are binding and billable.
Estimates do not guarantee final pricing. Additional labor or materials necessary for safety, compliance, or proper operation may be added to the final invoice.
Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide safe, unobstructed access to the garage door, opener, and surrounding work areas.
- Keep pets and children away from the workspace at all times.
- Disclose any known hazards, construction issues, or prior repairs that may affect the work.
- Ensure structural components (framing, headers, walls) are sound and capable of supporting new equipment.
Access, Safety & Property Conditions
MasterCraft may refuse or discontinue work if unsafe conditions exist, including structural issues, pest infestations, hazardous materials, or property conditions that prevent safe operation.
If the technician arrives and cannot access the property, or if conditions prevent work from proceeding, a trip charge may apply.
Cancellations or rescheduling made with insufficient notice may result in a cancellation fee.
Job Site Readiness & Return Trip Fees
For installations related to new construction, major remodels, or general contractor–managed projects, the customer or general contractor is responsible for ensuring the job site is fully ready on the scheduled service date.
A ready job site includes completed electrical, framing, structural support, permits or inspections as required, clear access to the installation area, and an installation workspace free of other trades or individuals that would prevent safe and uninterrupted work.
If MasterCraft Garage Door Service LLC arrives on site and is unable to begin work, unable to complete the installation, or must reschedule due to site readiness issues—including same-day cancellations or delays—a $250 return trip fee will apply.
The full invoice balance remains due and payable at the conclusion of the originally scheduled appointment, regardless of whether the installation could be completed. Payment is not deferred to the return visit.
Changes in Scope & Unforeseen Conditions
If hidden damage, unsafe components, incompatible parts, or other unforeseen conditions are discovered, additional labor or materials may be required. Work may be paused until approval is received.
MasterCraft is not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden defects, corrosion, worn-out hardware, prior improper installations, or failures unrelated to the work performed.
Special-Order Materials & Storage
Special-order doors, custom builds, or non-returnable materials require a non-refundable deposit. If materials arrive and installation is delayed by the customer, storage fees may apply. Materials left unclaimed for more than 30 days may be considered abandoned.
Payments, Fees & Billing Terms
Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise stated in writing.
- Deposits are non-refundable.
- A 3% fee applies to credit card payments.
- Returned checks carry a service fee.
- Overdue balances accrue a 1% monthly finance charge (12% annually).
- Payment obligations are not contingent upon third-party financing approval, funding, or disbursement.
Failure to pay may result in additional charges and collection actions permitted by law.
Payment Confirmation & Acceptance
Payment of an invoice issued by MasterCraft Garage Door Service LLC constitutes
confirmation that the services invoiced were authorized and completed in
accordance with the approved estimate or authorization, and that the customer
accepts the work as performed at the time of service.
Payment does not modify, expand, or waive warranty terms, scope of work, or any
statutory consumer rights, including rights provided under Arizona law.
Financing Servsices
Financing options, if offered, are provided by independent third-party financing providers and are made available solely as a convenience to the customer. MasterCraft Garage Door Service LLC does not provide lending or credit services and is not a lender or financial institution.
All financing approvals, terms, interest rates, fees, payment schedules, and lending decisions are determined exclusively by the third-party financing provider and are governed by a separate agreement between the customer and the provider. MasterCraft does not guarantee financing approval or specific financing terms and assumes no responsibility or liability for any financing decision, agreement, or dispute.
The customer’s obligation to pay MasterCraft for products and services provided is independent of any financing arrangement and remains due in accordance with these Terms of Service, regardless of financing approval, denial, delay, chargeback, or dispute with a financing provider.
Additional information regarding available financing options may be presented on the Company’s website for informational purposes only and does not modify or replace these Terms of Service.
